We've been out and about quite allot this term, which is always the plan in summer.
The Beavers and some parents had a pleasant walk round Spring Wood Picnic site, finished off with a great BBQ and drinks which Naughty Beaver prepared.
On the last week of term we also visited Calf Hey Reservoir for a bit of local treasure hunting. Luckily we found lots of sweeties which went down a treat with everyone, and also an official geocach treasure too.
We're having a break now over the summer, and we'll be back early September for our new adventures.

South Lakes Wild Animal Park
Hyndburn District Beavers spent the day at South Lakes Wild Animal Park on Saturday 10th July.
Despite the miserable weather, the beavers from 109 Loyola, St Pauls Oswaldtwistle and 1st Baxenden had a fantastic day - feeding the giraffes, kangaroos and emus, watching the tigers climb the posts for their dinner and watching the lemurs and Naughty Beaver get into mischief!
We also adopted one of the new jaguars at the park
