Air Activities - Concorde

First day trip of the year, and what a fabulous day it was.

We visited the Aviation Viewing Park at Manchester Airpot and had a tour of the awesome, now retired, Concorde.

We also spent some time in the Education Centre based in a converted Monarch Airlines DC10 airliner.

The beaver scouts got the opportunity to dress and undertake some role play in the flight deck as Captain and as Cabin Crew and Airport Fire Fighters in the main part of the plane.

Finally after an exhausting morning, we had lunch and then went to watch the planes take off and land on the runways.

Thank you to 109 Loyola who also undertook the trip with us, I think all the scouts had a great day.
